BUFFALO, N.Y. -  The SUNY Geneseo flag football team, led by head coach Rob Currin, volunteered last week at Damar Hamlin's Chasing M's Foundation Back to School event, held at Johnnie B. Wiley Stadium.

The event drew more than 1,300 attendees and provided free school supplies, haircuts, food, life saving CPR instruction, and a Flag Football Clinic, which was led by Currin and Flag Football team members Emma Doney, Katie Leighton, Fiyorina Daniel, and Sadie LaDelfa. Geneseo Flag Football worked alongside the community, running through drills with the children who attended and sharing their love of the sport with others.

Geneseo Flag Football will begin their first season as a varsity sport in the Empire 8 conference this spring.
