ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team traveled to the University of Rochester this afternoon, facing off against the 3-0-3 Yellowjackets. The Knights fell 1-0, making their record 0-4-3 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The first half saw both teams locked into a defensive battle, neither side was able to get much rolling on offense.
• The second half the game began to pick up a bit, with more shots falling on goal for both sides. Emily McLouth had back-to-back saved in the 47^th and 49^th minute of the game.
• Abby Dunnigan had a close shot on goal that was narrowly saved in the 48^th minute of the game.
• The defense would hold up for another 30 minutes, but Rochester was able to score in the 76^th minute, putting them up 1-0.
• Despite holding the Yellowjackets to no shots for the rest of the game, Geneseo was unable to get the offense going and the game ended at 1-0.

QUICK FACTS:

• Emily McLouth set her season high for saves in a game with seven.
• Abby Dunnigan and Ella Yartym both registered shots on goal.
