GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's soccer team fell to the University of Rochester Yellowjackets on Wednesday afternoon, 3-1. Geneseo now sits at 4-4-1 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play as they enter the weekend. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• The Knights had some great opportunities in the opening minutes with shots from Dylan Thody and Eric Carnes. Max Crothall came up big, making seven saves in the first half.  

• Rochester came out strong in the second half, taking an early 2-0 lead over the Knights. They went on to score their third in the 73rd minute to extend their lead.  

• Geneseo was able to find the back of the net off a corner kick from Owen Burke. Franco Visone got his head on the ball, putting it over the goalie's glove with two minutes left to play. The Knights were unable to make up the deficit, losing 3-1 in their last non-conference game. 

QUICK FACTS: 

• Franco Visone scored his first collegiate goal against the Yellowjackets.  

• The Knights have faced off against Rochester 35 times in the program's history.
