GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo softball team hosted Alfred in an Empire 8 doubleheader on Monday afternoon, and earned a split after a 6-3 victory in game two. - The Saxons got one run back in the third inning, but Griffin came up clutch with a two RBI double in the bottom half of the inning. Alfred cut into the lead one final time with a two run home run in the fifth, but Geneseo kept them off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game and earned a 6-3 victory.
