GENEVA, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's golf team defeated William Smith at Clifton Springs Country Club on Wednesday by way of tiebreaker after the teams split the four match play events. With both teams winning two matches, the Knights earned the win on a total strokes tiebreaker, 347-368.
Jillian Draper competed in a hard fought at the top of the lineup, as she went on to play 21 holes on the day, falling in the third playoff hole.
Brooklyn Rogers was unable to come up with the win in the second spot, falling 6 and 4.
Hanna Bechard picked up a clutch win for the Knights by securing the 2 and 1 victory, then
Lydia Hickey won 8 and 7 to help Geneseo secure the win following the tiebreaker. For the full results from the match,

Geneseo will now travel to the Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championships on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 28 at Wintonbury Hills Golf Club.
