GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's basketball team celebrated Senior Day on Saturday afternoon with a 75-59 victory over Nazareth. The win improves the Knights to 17-5 overall and 12-1 in Empire 8 play, while the Golden Flyers fall to 16-6 and 10-3 in the conference. The Knights honored seniors

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Beebe wasted no time getting the Knights offense going, knocking down a three and a layup on the opening two possessions. Later in the quarter, Maggie McGrane helped Geneseo end the opening 10 minutes on a high note by knocking down three shots in the closing minutes for the final six points. McGrane's 6-0 run gave the Knights a 16-9 advantage.
- In the second quarter, Kiley Snow scored seven of Geneseo's first nine points to extend the lead to 11 at 25-14. Then it was back to Beebe to help give the Knights all of the momentum going into halftime, as she drained three shots from deep in the final 3:30 to make it a 40-22 lead.
- Kristin Suydam scored the first six points of the third quarter for the Knights, and Geneseo kept the offensive momentum rolling as they carried a 60-40 lead to the final 10 minutes.
- The Knights never let Nazareth back into the game for a comeback attempt, and ultimately closed out a 75-59 victory.
QUICK FACTS:
- Beebe dropped a career high 16 points on an incredible shooting day, going 6-7 from the field and 4-5 from three. Suydam joined her as the top scorer with 16 as well.
- Reigle filled the stat sheet for Geneseo, recording 10 assists, eight rebounds, and six steals.
- McGrane (13), Grace Galgano (11), and Snow (10) also recorded double digit points.
