UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field team traveled to Utica on Saturday afternoon, where they came away with multiple impressive performances.
In the men's heptathlon,
Jonathan McNamara was the top collegiate finisher, earning a score of 4408. In the mile,
Nick Bauman finished third overall at 4:19.66 to lead a pack of three Knights who took third through fifth.
Sam Belmont went on to take first in the 400m Invitational at 49.89, while
Arjun Ojha took second. Geneseo kept the winning ways going in the 800m, with
Joshua Goldberg taking the top spot at 1:55.38, while
Matthew Sheehan and
Andrew Donner took third and fourth, respectively.
Charlie Wilson and
Ryan Hagan went on to finish fourth and fifth in the 5000m, while
Jack Towns earned a fourth place finish in the 200m. In the field events,
Chris Desiderio took fourth in the triple jump at 13.07m.
