ITHACA, NY: The Geneseo Men's Lacrosse team lost 15-6 to Ithaca College. The Knights are now 0-1 on the season.  

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Ithaca went on an eight-goal run to open the game before Colin Cahil scored the Knights first goal of the match unassisted. The team peppered the goalie, putting 16 shots on goal in the first half but went into halftime down 9-1.  

• Jake Perinchief scored first to open the third period, with the assist coming from Cole Bollin.  

• Askel Stanat and Ronnie Trebbing both found the back of the net during the third on unassisted shots. Stanat and Trebbing continued their efforts in the fourth, scoring two more goals but the Knights were unable secure the win and fell 15-6 against the Bombers.  

QUICK FACTS: 

• Ronnie Trebing led the team with three points: two goals and one assist. 

• Askel Stanat recorded his first collegiate goal this evening.  

• Andrew Tittmann and Wes Ralph both spent time between the pipes, recording six and three saves respectively.

The Knights will host RIT on Wednesday, March 5th at 7 PM at College Stadium.
