Geneseo Men's Ice Hockey Falls To Oswego 1-0

GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's ice hockey team fell 1-0 against Oswego on Friday evening. The Knights now hold a 1-1-1 record for the 2025-2026 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Geneseo put immediate pressure on Oswego's goalie, posting seven shots in the opening minutes. The Knights secured a power-play to end the first period and headed into the second with the man advantage.

  • The Knights were in control of the third, putting up 20 shots on goal to Oswego's 6. With the goalie pulled in the closing minutes, Geneseo put up a flurry of shots on goal and nearly forced one past the Oswego goa Geneseo was unable to make the comeback and suffered their first loss of the season.
