ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field team earned a third-place finish at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup on Saturday afternoon, marking their first competition of the second semester.
Ryan Hagan highlighted the beginning of the meet for the Knights by taking first place in the mile, posting a time of 4:17.32. The Knights went on to place five runners inside the top seven in the mile. In the following track event,
Jacob Miller placed second in the 400m with a time of 48.89.
Anson Butler added another first place finish for Geneseo, recording a time of 8:41.78 in the 3000m.
Bergen Caprood picked up a third place finish in the 60m with a time of 7.02, while the team of Miller,
Arjun Ojha,
Jack Towns, and
Andrew Donner rounded out the track events with a time of 3:20.48 in the 4x400 relay. Highlighting the track events for the day was
Trey Feirman finishing fourth in the pole vault at 4.15m.Â
