Geneseo, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo field hockey team posted a 7-0 victory over Nazareth University on Wednesday evening at College Stadium. The No. 20 ranked Knights move to 5-1 on the season with the win.  

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• The Knights started their game with a bang, scoring three goals in the first quarter. Katrina Clare struck first a minute into the game with an unassisted goal. Towards the end, Emily Cortese found the back of the net and was followed by Aubree Wenner scoring off a pass from Hanna Pochobradsky.  

• In the second, Sam Lewis tallied another unassisted goal for the Knights. The team headed into the half up 4-0 against the Golden Flyers.  

• The Knights went into the third with the same energy as Lewis found Clare to put the knights up 5-0. Ella Greico scored less than a minute later off a rebound.  

• Wenner ended the game, scoring her second of the night and the Knights finished the game with a 7-0 victory against Nazareth.  

QUICK FACTS: 

• Grecio leads the offense this season with 15 points on seven goals and one assist, while Lewis has 14 points on five goals and four assists.

• The Knight's out-shot the Golden Flyers 27 to 1.  

• Lilly Spitz got her fifth win of the season in goal.
