FREDONIA, N.Y. & BETHLEHEM, P.A. .The Geneseo Men's Cross Country Team swept both the Kara Hall Invitational at Fredonia and The Paul Short Invitational at Leigh University. 

In the Fredonia race, Ryan Hagen led the way and took first with a time of 25:12.4. Mike Taranto followed close behind, finishing fifth at 25:52.4. Teammates Justin Thang and Eion McClain took 10th and 11th place respectively and James Tette rounded out the top-20, securing the first-place team finish.  

At the Paul Short run, the men competed in the Men's College White 8k. Charlie Wilson had an incredible outing, finishing second overall with a time of 24:37.5. Alex Hillyard crossed the finish line four seconds later, taking fourth place. Pierce Young crossed the line at 24:57.1, securing 12th and teammates William Hall and Micah McCulley rounded out the top finishers for Geneseo, and the Knights secured the first-place team finish at the Paul Short Invite. 

Geneseo will return to action on October 19 when they host the Mike Woods Invite.
