GENESEO, N.Y.-The SUNY Geneseo Women's Soccer Team took down Nazareth (6-5-2) on Wednesday night. Juliet Frischmann helped lead the Knights to (8-3-2) overall and (6-0-1) in Empire 8 Conference play.  

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• The teams went back and forth in the first half and went into the locker room after a scoreless 45 minutes.  

• Senior midfielder Lindsey Matthews fired a shot on target in the 49th minute, turned away by the Nazareth goalkeeper.  

• Junior forward Abby Foster found fifth-year forward Juliet Frischmann at the back post in the 59th minute to give the Knights a 1-0 lead.  

• Frischmann picked the pocket of the Nazareth defender and created a solo goal in the 71st minute with her left foot.  

QUICK FACTS:  

• Frischmann's two goals make her tied for most goals on the team with five.  

• Senior goalkeeper Mollie Collins started in net for the Knights and tallied three saves.  

• The Knights have picked up four straight Empire 8 victories.

Geneseo will make the trip to take on Alfred (6-2-3) on Saturday, October 19th, at 6 P.M. in another Empire 8 Conference matchup.
