OSWEGO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team couldn't pull off an upset of #10 Oswego on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Lakers 83-56. The defeat drops the Knights to 4-7 overall and 1-3 in SUNYAC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Drew Morrow got off to a hot start for the Knights offense, converting jump shots on the opening two possessions to give Geneseo a 4-0 advantage.
• Michael Gentile and Cole Kattan then helped maintain the early lead with a three and a basket in the paint, respectively. Oswego was able to earn back the lead however, and take a 36-24 advantage into halftime.
• The Lakers kept the momentum going in the second half and ended up pulling away from multiple comeback attempts from the Knights.

QUICK FACTS:

• Morrow scored a season high 17 points on 8-15 shooting from the field. Josh Garelle joined him in double-digit scoring by posting 11.
• Cole Kattan added eight points of his own and tallied a team-high eight rebounds.

The Knights will host Fredonia on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Schrader Gym.
