FREDONIA, N.Y.- The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team won on the road against SUNYAC foe Fredonia on Tuesday night. The 73-60 win marks the Knights fourth-straight victory and improves their record to 11-9 and 8-5 in conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Seven minutes into the game, Fredonia was able to pull away after a slow start and went up 13-4 just over eight minutes into the action.
• The Knights were able to bounce back after their early offensive struggles, and gained a 16-15 lead following a basket by Justin Yearwood. The game stayed close down the stretch of the first half, and the two teams entered halftime tied at 31.
• Halfway through the second period, the Knights were able to go on a 10-2 run capped off by a good jumper by Jackson Casey and they took a seven point lead with 10 minutes remaining to play. 
• Sebastian Pacheco and Cole Kattan made some clutch baskets in the final stretch of the game to help Geneseo solidify a big road victory as they defeated Fredonia 73-60.

QUICK FACTS: 

• Cole Kattan led Geneseo in scoring with 20 points along with 3 steals. 
• Sebastian Pachecho contributed 15 points, while Robert Pericolosi also totalled 13 points and 13 rebounds to post a double-double. Justin Yearwood also reached double-digit scoring with 12.
