GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team came up short in Schrader Gym on Saturday afternoon as they hosted Brockport in a SUNYAC matchup. The Knights fell 71-55 to drop to 7-9 overall and 4-5 in conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Knights got off to a slow start in the first half and struggled to gain the momentum against the Golden Eagles. Sebastian Pacheco highlighted Geneseo's play in the first half, scoring the first seven points for the Knights.
• Geneseo made multiple comeback attempts in the second half, but were unable to get a rhythm going on the offensive end to cut the Golden Eagles lead to single digits. A pair of three pointers down the stretch by Ethan Meisel and Michael Gentile highlighted the action for the Knights.

QUICK FACTS: 

• Pacheco led the team in scoring and assists, with 13 and four, respectively.
• Cole Kattan registered a double double for the Knights with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
