GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo field hockey team came up short in a rematch of last year's SUNYAC Championship game on Sunday afternoon, as they traveled to Cortland and fell 1-0. Geneseo's record now sits at 4-3 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Knights controlled the offensive tempo in the first half, tallying seven shots and five on goal, compared to just one shot on target from the Red Dragons.
• Cortland was able to flip the momentum at halftime, and ultimately scored the game-winner in the fourth quarter in the 54th minute.

QUICK FACTS

• Sarah Quinlan tallied five saves in goal over the 60 minutes of action.
• Ava Schillaci led the Knights offense with two shots on goal, while Sam Lewis, Grace Olczak, Katrina Clare and Sara O'Donnell each added a shot on target.
