GENEVA, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's golf team came up short against William Smith on Friday afternoon, falling to the Herons 3-1.

Brooklyn Rogers highlighted the match for the Knights, posting a victory of 5 and 4 at Clifton Springs Country Club. Jillian Draper battled William Smith at the top spot in the lineup, but couldn't pull out the victory as she fell 2 and 1. Shannon McCrory and Cammy Porter lost 4 and 3, and 3 and 2, respectively.

Geneseo now sits at 1-1 on the season, and will return to action at the Keuka Invitational on Wednesday, Sep. 27.
