GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo field hockey team earned a convincing win on Wednesday evening against Nazareth. The 8-0 victory at College Stadium improved the Knights record to 4-2 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Geneseo's scoring started off slow with only one goal in the first quarter by Katrina Clare.
• The second quarter quickly picked up for the Knights with three more goals from Ava Schillaci, Katrina Clare, and Sara O'Donnell.
• The Knights held Nazareth to 0 shots in the first half, making the score 4-0 going into the third quarter.
• An early goal from Grace Olczak assisted by Darby Matthews, and another goal later by Ella Greico in the third quarter put the Knights up by six going into the final quarter.
• Goals from Emily Cortese and Shannon Cunningham, assisted by Ella Greico and Molly Bathrick, respectively, sealed the victory for the Knights.

• Geneseo had 21 shots on goal compared to just one from the Golden Flyers.
• Katrina Clare and Grace Olczak both have three goals on the season, tied for the team lead with Sam Lewis
