DAY 1 RECAP
ONEONTA, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo began their quest for their fifth consecutive State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship today at the SUNYAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The Knights wrapped up Day 1 in 2nd place with a total of 43 points scored.
William Hall lead the Knights in the 10,000m with a 1st place finish and a total of 30 points combined with his fellow teammates in the race.
Bryan Jacobs finished 2nd in the Long Jump. Securing 8 points for the team's total.
4 Knight's (
Kieran Sheridan,
Jacob Miller,
John Goldszer,
Jason Rappazzo) qualified for the 400m. Setting up to be a Geneseo vs Cortland final (12:55pm). And 4 more Knight's (
Matthew Sheehan,
Joshua Goldberg,
Ezra Ruggles,
Alec Andrews) also qualified for the 800m final (1:15pm).
The Knight's will look to continue their momentum tomorrow for Day 2 at Oneonta.

DAY 2 RECAP
ONEONTA, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo completed their quest for their fifth consecutive SUNYAC title today at the SUNYAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship.The Knights picked up 239 points to win the program's 10th championship overall.
On the track,
Nick Andrews led the charge with wins in the 1500m and the 5000m. Six Knights scored in the 5000m to combine for a total of 32 points in the event. Andrews had a total of 28 points contributed to the team total.
Lance Jensen was also a double winner from this weekend, winning the 100m and 200m dashes to put up 20 points for the team.
In the all Cortland vs Geneseo 400m final,
Kieran Sheridan won the event with a time of 47.77. His teammates
Jacob Miller,
John Goldszer, and
Jason Rappazzo finished third, fourth, and fifth to outscore Cortland 25-14 in the event. Sheridan, Miller, Goldszer, and Rappazzo joined forces in the 4x400m relay, where they won and broke the meet record with a time of 3:12.93.
Chris Davis represented the Knights in the field by winning the High Jump with a jump of 1.95m.
Caleb Clarke put up a strong showing in the decathlon, taking second place with 5648 points.
The Knights will enjoy the title defense and be back Monday, May 15th for the Swarthmore Final Qualifier.
