Rochester, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field team competed in the last regular season meet of the year at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic on Saturday, and the Penn Relays.
Lance Jensen continued his career best season to date, running a 51.90 in the 400H. Jensen's time bests his school record once again, and ranks him 1st in the nation. Being the only individual to run under 52 seconds this year.Â
Kieran Sheridan also had another strong performance in the 400m, running a 47.84 to break the facility record.
Bryan Jacobs also had a strong performance, jumping a 7.31m in the Long Jump today. Both Sheridan and Jacobs are ranked within the top 20 in the nation.
Chris Davis won the High Jump with 1.96m jump.
Dylan Olson jumped a season best in the triple jump with a mark of 14.07m. His first time over 14m.Â
Nick Bauman also had a season best in the 1500m, with a time of 3:56.65.
At Penn Relays,
Nick Andrews ran the 5000m in 14:12.20 which ranks him top 15 in the nation.
Ezra Ruggles ran in the 1500m and ran a 4:06.03.
The Knights had a strong tune up and look to carry the momentum next week, as they try to defend their SUNYAC championship at SUNY Oneonta.
