POTSDAM, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's lacrosse team picked up its sixth-straight win on Friday afternoon as they defeated Potsdam, 15-2. The road victory improved the Knights to 10-3 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Knights were dominant from the start of the game, winning the first quarter 6-0 and the second quarter 5-0.
• Brady Sullivan netted the first three goals of the game, while Christian Marcello, Jr. and Reese Gerlach each added back-to-back goals during the first half.
• Carrying an 11-0 advantage into the second half, Geneseo's defense continued to keep the Bears off the scoreboard and increased their lead to 13-0 after the third quarter.
• Max Esposito and Ryan Trebing both scored in the final 15 minutes for the Knights to help keep the winning margin at 13 goals.

QUICK FACTS

• Marcello, Jr. led offense with six points on two goals and four assists, while Sullivan chipped in three goals and Jimmy Atkinson added two goals and an assist.
• Mark Pav played 37 minutes for Geneseo and didn't allow a goal, tallying 12 saves in the win.
• BB Syrop led the Knights on the face-off's, going 9-12.
