GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's lacrosse team couldn't pick up their first home win of the season on Wednesday afternoon as they fell to St. Lawrence, 15-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Knights got off to a slow start as they trailed 3-0 through the first seven minutes of the opening quarter, but responded with a goal by Jimmy Atkinson.
• St. Lawrence gained momentum with a man-up opportunity goal and then won face off and quickly scored again to end the second quarter, 8-2. 
• Geneseo came out of the intermission and cut the score to 8-4 with back to back goals from senior William McCumiskey.
• The Saints dominated the rest of second half and didn't leave any room for a comeback attempt, closing the 15-6 victory.

QUICK FACTS

• McCumiskey led the offensive effort with three goals and one assist, while Atkinson added two goals.
• Ethan Cone tallied a team-high five ground balls and Trevor Bolligner grabbed three.
• Senior goalkeeper Mark Pav recorded 11 saves in the loss.
