ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field team competed at the Conference Tune-Up at Nazareth on Friday evening in their final competition before the SUNYAC Championship's next weekend.
Ezra Ruggles provided a highlight of the meet for the Knights, taking the top spot in the 800 meter with a regional qualifying time of 1:53.68.
Frank Bubbico and
Nick Baumann went on to record qualifying times as well in third and fourth place, respectively.
Nick Andrews kept the winning ways going for Geneseo, earning first place in the mile run with a time of 4:14.09. Andrews earned a regional qualifying time, as well as
Ryan Mitchell and
Alex Hillyard who placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
William Hall earned a first place finish in the 3000 meter, crossing the line with a time of 8:40.03.
Brendan Style finished second in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.44 seconds.
