ROCHESTER, N.Y. AND BOSTON - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field competed at both the RIT Invitational and the Valentine Invitational at Boston University this weekend and smashed multiple school records.

One of many highlights over the weekend, came on Friday at the Valentine Invite where the Distance Medley Relay team of Nick Andrews, Kieran Sheridan, Josh Goldberg, and Ezra Ruggles recorded the fourth fastest time in NCAA Division III history with a time of 9:43.13. Ruggles anchored the relay with a time of 4:02 in the 1600. The DMR team also set a new school record.

On Saturday at the Valentine Invitational, the 4x400 relay team of Lance Jensen, Jason Rappazzo, Jacob Miller, and Kieran Sheridan set a new school record and the third fastest time in DIII history with a time of 3:11.65. Jensen also set a new school record in the 200 meter with a 21.50, marking the seventh fastest time in DIII this season.

Sheridan went on to set a new school record in the 400 meter, racing to a time of 48.03. Josh Goldberg then capped off the record setting day with a new school record in the 800 meter at 1:51.85.

Bryan Jacobs also had an impressive performance on Friday, as he recorded the fourth best long jump in Division III this season at 7.30 meters at the RIT Invitational. Jacobs long jump was good enough second best in school history and first place at the meet.
