GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team faced off against Buffalo State at College Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. The matchup ended in a 0-0 draw, the Knight's fourth tie of the year, as their record now sits at 5-2-4 overall and 1-0-3 in SUNYAC play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights were able to put up an eye-opening 13 shots in the first half, while their defense kept the Bengals to only two.
- Coming out of the break, the Knights' offense continued their dominant streak as they recorded another 15 shots in the second half.
- Geneseo's defense became even more locked down in the second half as they did not allow Buffalo State a single shot.
- The team totaled eight shots on goal in the matchup, but were unable to find the back of the net as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
- Junior goalkeeper Mollie Collins played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded two saves against the Bengals.
