GENESEO, N.Y. – The SUNY Geneseo men's ice hockey team will begin their 2023-24 campaign on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. against Nazareth University. Please read all of the information below regarding home games for the Geneseo men's ice hockey team.
GENERAL ADMISSION
Doors open and tickets will be available for the SUNY Geneseo's Men's Ice Hockey home opener on Saturday, October 28, 2023, vs. Nazareth University beginning at 5:45 p.m. in the Merritt Athletic Center. There will be no PRE-SALE tickets for regular season contests.
Doors and ticket booth will open 75 minutes prior to faceoff for each succeeding home contest.
SEASON/SPONSORSHIP BADGES
Pre-purchased SEASON TICKET badges and SPONSORSHIP badges will be available for pick up beginning at 5:45 p.m. and will be available at each succeeding game until distributed.
**RETURNING BADGE HOLDERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO RECYCLE THEIR LANYARD FOR THIS YEAR'S BADGE BY BRINGING IT TO THE ARENA ON SATURDAY.
TICKET PRICES
$8.00 – Adults
$5.00 – Faculty/Staff with SUNY Geneseo ID and Senior Citizens (65+)
$3.00 – Students 5 years old and up
FREE – SUNY Geneseo Students, Children 4 and under
SUNY GENESEO STUDENTS
The first 900 SUNY Geneseo students will receive free entry into the Wilson Ice Arena. After 900 students, entry is based on ticket availability.
PAYMENTS
- CASH ONLY – no credit cards will be accepted.
- Payments must be made in person (no advance requests or phone transactions will be accepted).
FAN BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
-The Wilson Ice Arena is a family-oriented, fan-friendly facility. Fans are expected to act accordingly, supporting the student-athletes, coaches, officials and fellow spectators with respect and sportsmanship regardless of what's happening on the ice or the outcome of the contest.
-Fans are expected to follow the directions of the athletic department personnel and student event management staff, including, but not limited to the following:
-No alcohol or tobacco products, including vaping
-No obscene or offensive language
-No abuse of officials
-No standing directly behind the goals
-No running on the track
LIVE COVERAGE INFORMATION
- All home games will be streamed on the Geneseo Knights YouTube Channel. Audio will not begin on the live stream until the start of the game due to YouTube music copyright issues and in-arena music being played before the game begins.
