Sarah Quinlan played all 60 minutes in goal, earning her 13th career shutout, a new program record.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo put the pressure on early, taking 8 shots in the first quarter, and two in the second, while fantastic defense from Geneseo kept Brockport from taking any shots in the first half.
- Despite a great effort from Geneseo, the score remained 0-0 going into the second half.
- A penalty stroke goal from Hanna Pochobradsky early in the third quarter gave the Knights the lead.
- Going into the final quarter, Geneseo was up 1-0, and the Knights still held Brockport to zero shots on goal.
- In the final quarter, Geneseo was able to remain solid from a defensive standpoint, not allowing a single shot from Brockport.
