GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team hosted Plattsburgh and fell 1-0 to conclude the regular season on Saturday afternoon. The Knights' season record came in at 6-3-7 overall and 2-1-6 in SUNYAC play. Geneseo honored their 11 senior members before the game in a brief pre-game ceremony.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Geneseo's offense came out strong in the first half as they tallied 11 shots and one corner kick in the first 45 minutes of action.

The Knights' defense also held their own as they only allowed the Cardinals to record two shots before halftime.

After the half, the Knights' offensive attack remained in control as they tallied seven shots and three corner kicks.

Despite Geneseo's defense holding Plattsburgh to only four shots in the final period, the Cardinals found the back of the net in the 83rd minute.Â

The Knights were unable to tie up the game as they fell 1-0 in their first SUNYAC defeat of the season.Â
