GENESEO, N.Y. - The Geneseo women's volleyball team earned a clean sweep of Buffalo State on Friday, Oct. 13. The Knight's hosted the Bengals for their fifth SUNYAC matchup, and improved their conference record to 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo set the tone with an early six-point run, pushing the first set score to 7-2. The set got close, but Geneseo refused to let off the gas and quickly found themselves at set point, 24-18. A huge kill from Madison Popielski sealed the first of three sets for the Knights.
- The second set began differently, as Geneseo found themselves down by four points very early. The Knights quickly picked up the pace and went on a 10-point scoring spree, taking an 18-10 advantage. Geneseo was able to claim the second set after a Buffalo State error on set point, winning 25-14.
- The third set remained close for the first 10 points, each side drawing five. The Knights quickly doubled their score, and never looked back. Geneseo seemingly breezed through the Bengals defense, claiming the third set on another Buffalo State error. The Knights won the third set 25-15, and won the match 3-0.

The Knights will be at home again on Saturday, Oct. 14, against Fredonia. Geneseo will look to improve their SUNYAC record to 5-1 with a win over the Blue Devils at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.
