Men's Basketball Upended By Oswego

GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team couldn't keep up with Oswego following a closely contested first half, and ultimately fell 100-62 on Tuesday night. The loss dropped the Knights to 7-10 on the season and 4-6 in SUNYAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Early in the first half, Geneseo found themselves trailing by six points at 17-11, but back-to-back three's from Raymond Grabowski and Ethan St. Lucia tied the game up.
  • The Knights went on to trail by as many as eight points in the first half at 31-23, but they closed the half on a 9-2 run to make it a one point game heading into the locker room.
  • Oswego caught fire in the second half from behind the arc, going 13-19 from deep to help pull away for the victory.

QUICK FACTS
  • Kevin Ranaghan tallied a game-high 14 points, while Harrison Dignan totaled a season-high 13 points to lead the Geneseo offense.
  • Dignan also recorded team-high's in rebounds and assists, with seven and eight, respectively.
