GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team fell to 5-8 on the season and 2-4 in SUNYAC action on Friday night as they fell to Oneonta, 78-62.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Knights got off to a hot start, with junior guard Cole Kattan scoring five of the first 10 minutes for Geneseo in the first five minutes of action. Raymond Grabowski then extended the Knights lead to 10 points with a three-point shot made with just over seven minutes gone in the first half.
• Geneseo attempted to cling to its lead for the remainder of the half, but the Red Dragons got the final momentum swing by draining a three at the buzzer to head to the locker rooms up 36-34.
• Oneonta quickly increased its lead to double digits in the second half and the Knights were unable to launch a comeback.

QUICK FACTS

• Kattan dropped a team-high 17 points, while Sebastian Pacheco added in 10 of his own.
• Harrison Dignan recorded six assists and two steals to lead the Knights in both categories.
