ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team came up short on the road Wednesday at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), as they fell by a score of 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Senior forward Lindsay Wright and sophomore midfielder Lindsey Matthews each tallied a shot in the first half, and the Knights recorded to three corner kicks, compared to zero from the Tigers. 
• Neither team found the back of the net in the opening half, with RIT out-shooting the Knights 7-2.
• The second half saw the Tigers continue to take control of the game, and they were able to convert with a pair of goals in the 67th and 68th minute. Geneseo was unable to get on the board and ultimately fell 2-0.

QUICK FACTS

• Senior goalkeeper Angel Bennett recorded five saves in goal with all 90 minutes played.
• All three of Geneseo's games this season have ended with a final score of 2-0.
