CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - SUNY Geneseo senior goalkeeper
Angel Bennett made five saves to earn a shutout but the offense couldn't find the net as the Knights settled for a scoreless draw, 0-0, at Desales on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Desales outshot Geneseo, 6-4, in the first half. Junior forward Juliette Frischmann recorded the Knights' only first half shot on goal but it was turned away as the two teams went into halftime without a breakthrough.Â
- The Knights came out firing in the second half, outshooting the Bulldogs, 8-5 in the final period. In the 53rd minute, Geneseo capped a nice build up play when Lindsey Matthews fired a shot on goal and Nicole Bell added a shot later in the offensive sequence, but both were saved.Â
- Bennett parried away both shots on goal in the second half as the Knights' defense earned its second shutout of the season.

- The draw marked the first 90-minute tie result in program history as the NCAA did away with overtime in regular season contests this season.Â
