HOUGHTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo Men's Track & Field team competed at the Houghton December Classic on Friday night to begin the 2022-23 season.
Jacob Miller took first place in the 600 with a finishing time of 1:21.79 while
Ryan Mitchell earned a second-place finish in the mile, racing to a 4:24.32 finish and
Alec Andrews took second in the 800 with a 1:59.00 time.
Jason Rappazzo took third in the 200 with a time of 23.02 while
Anson Butler added a third-place finish with a 9:19.11 finishing time.
The Geneseo 4x400 relay team of Nate LaSorba,
John Goldszer,
Stephen Hoare and
Kieran Sheridan combined to take first place, beating out NCAA Division I Buffalo with a finishing time of 3:25.01.
The Knights will compete again on Friday, Dec. 9 when they travel to Nazareth to run in the Alumni Season Opener.
