Men's Basketball Stays Hot With 66-57 Win Over Alfred State

ALFRED, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team earned their third-straight victory on Tuesday evening at Alfred State, 66-57. The Knights improved to 3-2 on the season, and will begin SUNYAC play after Thanksgiving break.

  • Geneseo kept their momentum going and extended the lead to 18-9, but went on to take a 14 point lead into halftime after sophomore guard Michael Gentile netted seven points in the final two minutes.
  • The Pioneers were able cut the lead to six points multiple times in the second half, but the Knights wouldn't let their hopes of a comeback get any closer as they pulled away with a nine point victory in the end.
