Box Score NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo sophomore forward Michael Gannon led all scorers with 16 points and added nine rebounds to lead the Knights to a 72-57 road victory over New Paltz on Friday night.

Geneseo got off to a slow start, scoring only eight points in the first ten minutes, but the Knights battled throughout the period and entered halftime trailing, 30-28.

Coming out of halftime, senior guard Terence Rogers scored five quick points to spark the Geneseo offense.

Sophomore guard Elijah Wingfield scored 12 second-half points to help extend the Geneseo lead.

The Knights continued to score, going on a 9-0 run bringing the lead to 58-43 with just over six minutes to play.
- New Paltz drew to within 10 points in the final minutes, but Geneseo closed the game on a 14-7 run to seal the victory.
