POTSDAM, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior guard Justin Ringen scored a season-high 33 points while junior guard John Decker tallied 26 points and eight rebounds off the bench to lead the Knights to a 89-70 victory at Potsdam in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's basketball action, Saturday.

Trailing, 19-18, with 6:59 left in the first half, Geneseo used a 20-12 run to build a 38-31 halftime lead that it never surrendered.

Potsdam scored the first seven points of the second half to knot the game, 38-38, at 18:55, but the Knights re-took control with an 18-8 spurt to take a 10-point lead, 56-46, at 12:20 that grew to 19 at the final buzzer.

The Knights (11-3, 5-2 SUNYAC) return to action on Sunday at Plattsburgh Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m.
