BROCKPORT, N.Y. - SUNY Genseo junior forward Gordon Lyons totaled 18 points and 12 rebounds for his 16th double-double of the season but it was Plattsburgh pulling out a 73-69 victory over the Knights in the semifinals of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Basketball Tournament, Friday.

In a tight game that saw 22 lead changes and 11 ties, Plattsburgh scored the final seven points of the game, while holding Geneseo scoreless over the final 2:30 to clinch the victory and a spot in the SUNYAC Championship.

Senior forward Matt Curry added 18 points while senior guard Connor Fedge was credited with 16 points in the loss. 

Geneseo owns a 21-6 record and could be in the mix for a possible Pool C bid to the NCAA Tournament next week.
