BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's lacrosse team overpowered Brockport this afternoon, winning 14-4 against the Golden Eagles. The Knights extend their win streak to five, improving to 6-3 this season and 3-0 in the Empire 8.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Knights took an early 6-1 lead against Brockport in the first. Ronnie Trebing tallied three of his own, followed by two from Ryan Trebing and one from Aksel Stanat, holding the Golden Eagles to only one.
• The Knights only tallied two goals during the second and third quarters, coming from Ryan and Ronnie Trebing at 7:10.
• Brockport added a goal to open the final 15 minutes of game, but Ryan Trebing answered back with a man-up goal a minute later to make it 9-2.
• Geneseo went on to score four more time, with Jack Wenham closing out the game with his first career goal with 52 seconds left to play, sealing the Knights 14-4 victory. 

QUICK FACTS:

• Ronnie Trebing led the Knights with six goals, totaling 29 this season.
• Sam Myung had a great game, picking up six ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Ben Bradshaw picked up his sixth win of the season, making 8 saves for a .778 SV%.
