ROCHESTER, NY: The Geneseo Men's Lacrosse team fell to the Nazareth Golden Flyers 12-14 this afternoon in the Empire 8 Semifinal match.  

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Nazareth took an early lead, going up by three before Askel tallied the first goal for the Knights. He tallied a second, followed by Ryan Trebing, with Nazareth leading 5-3 after the first.  

• The teams traded points, with goals from Ian Leahey (2), Sean Elliott, Ryan Trebing, Josh Knapp, and Stanat, bringing it to 9-9 at halftime. 

• Nazare4th took a three-goal lead in the third and Geneseo went scoreless. They bounced back in the fourth quarter, with Ryan Trebing (2) and Max Esposito scoring three goals, but the team was unable to rally against the Golden Flyers. The Knights lost 12-14 

QUICK FACTS: 

• Riley Henselder led with five assists and Ryan Trebing led with four goals.  

• The Knights had 10 caused turnovers, with Nick Reffelt and Aidan Crane each having two.
