GENEVA, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team traveled to William Smith on Tuesday, April 15 for their first match of the spring season and fell 7-0.

Natalie Pipes and Joann Catalano highlighted the action in second doubles, forcing the match to go to a tiebreaker, but they were unable to come out on top and fell 7-6 (8-6). Samantha Rava and Rachel Molloy fell at first doubles 6-1, then Talia Wutz and Elena DeRiso dropped the third doubles match 6-1 as well. DeRiso highlighted singles play in the six spot, but couldn't pull out a hard fought battle with a final score of 6-2 7-5.

Geneseo will return to action on Friday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m.
