GENESEO, N.Y. - The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) announced its Division III All-Americans on Thursday, March 27, and SUNY Geneseo had two student-athletes earn the distinction. Senior forward Peter Morgan was named to Second-Team East, while sophomore defender Sean Melso brought home Third-Team East honors.

Morgan earns his second-career All-American honors in 2025, earning Second-Team East after leading the team in points for the fourth-straight year. Morgan has 36 points for the Ice Knights entering the Frozen Four matchup against Hobart with 14 goals and 22 assists. Morgan was also named First-Team UCHC this season after tallying 32 points on 12 goals and 20 assists throughout regular season play.

Melso, the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year, has a plus-31 rating, the best for the Ice Knights, and has recorded 25 points on eight goals and 17 assists in 29 games played this season. He was a league-best plus-26 with 21 points (six goals and 15 assists) in 20 UCHC regular season contests en route to his Defensive Player of the Year recognition. Melso continued to play a key role for Geneseo in the postseason, helping lead the team to the UCHC Championship and an appearance in the Frozen Four, tomorrow at 3 p.m. against Hobart.
