ATLANTA - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced the NCAA Division III award winners for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday morning, and senior guard
Mackenzie Reigle was named an Honorable Mention All-American. Reigle becomes the 10th player in program history to earn All-American honors, and the 13th overall award for the program.
Reigle finishes her senior season as the NCAA Division III leader in assists, averaging 7.9 per game. Earlier this season, Reigle set a new program record for assists in a season, surpassing the 186 mark set by P.J. McTigue in the 1998-99 season. Reigle has recorded 245 this season, and finishes her career second all-time in career assists with 544. Additionally she finished the year averaging 8.4 points per game and 5.2 rebounds, following an impressive postseason run in both the Empire 8 and NCAA Tournaments. Reigle was named the Empire 8 Tournament MVP after averaging 14.0 points, 9.0 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game in Geneseo's three E8 Tournament wins. The Batavia, N.Y. native was a driving force in the Knights NCAA Tournament run to the Sweet 16, where she averaged 16.7 points, 7.3 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game over three games.
