Women's Basketball Lands Four All-Conference Honors

GENESEO, N.Y. - The Empire 8 announced its women's basketball All-Conference awards on Thursday morning, and SUNY Geneseo took home four honors. Kiley Snow and Mackenzie Reigle earned First-Team recognition, while Kristin Suydam and Grace Galgano rounded out the honors with Second and Third Team distinctions, respectively. Additionally, Eva Elliot was named to the Sportswoman of the Year team for Geneseo.

Snow earned her second career All-Conference recognition after being second on the team in scoring for Geneseo, averaging 11.3 points per game while shooting 43.7 percent from the field. The Whitesboro, N.Y. native is also the leading deep threat for the Knights, recording 48 made three's on the season. Snow's year was highlighted by surpassing the 1,000 career point mark against Houghton, the 17th player in program history to reach the milestone.

Reigle lands First-Team All-Conference honors for Geneseo as the NCAA Division III leader in assists per game with 7.9. During the Knights 73-52 win at Alfred a couple weeks ago, the Batavia, N.Y. native set the new single-season record for assists in a season, tallying her 187th assist of the season to surpass the mark set by P.J. McTigue in the 1998-99 season. She currently has 218 assists this season, and 517 during her career, which puts Reigle seven assists away from moving into second in program history for career assists. Reigle also averages seven points per game and 5.3 rebounds for the Knights.

Suydam earns her first career All-Conference honors after being named Second-Team this season. The Sayville, N.Y. native was dominant in the paint for Geneseo this season, leading the team in scoring (12.3 ppg) and rebounding (7.3 rpg). Additionally, she shoots 54.9 percent from the field, 71 percent from the free throw line, and leads the team in blocks with 38.

Galgano was a huge addition to the Knights roster this season as a transfer, earning Third-Team All-Conference honors for her efforts. The Brewster, N.Y. native is averaging over 10 points per game, while also recording 7.2 rebounds per game, the second best on the team. Galgano shoots just over 50 percent from the field, including a team-best 41.3 percent from behind the arc.

One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2024-25 Women's Basketball Sportswoman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen and Elliot earned this distinction for the Knights.
