Men's Soccer Takes Down Keuka 10-0

GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo Men's Soccer team defeated Keuka 10-0 this afternoon at College Stadium. Michael Ruggiero led the team with four goals, and the team sits at 6-4-1 overall with a 4-0 conference record.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Jace DiPalo opened the game with the team's first goal at 8:52, breaking past four defenders, going bottom right to lead 1-0. The Knights added another a minute later, with Eric Famularo finding Michael Ruggiero for the header to extend the lead.

  • Dylan Thody had two more goals back-to-back to start the second half. Eric Carnes found Thody across the box to tab one in. He then nailed another header. Anthony Abbondanza drilled on off the crossbar and Thody picked up the rebound to extend the lead.

  • Aidan Lodie added another 48 seconds later to make it 8-0. Kyla Arraiano ended the night tallying two more goals for Geneseo, one from a penalty kick and a second off a beautiful pass from Alfonso Vito. The Knights finished on top, winning 10-0.
