Skidmore, NY- The Geneseo Field hockey team notched their fourth-straight win of the season, beating Skidmore 5-2. Ella Greico Tallied her first career hattrick. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Geneseo started the game on fire with Katrina Clare scoring the first goal of the game for the Knights at 3:41.  

• Two minutes later, Greico received an amazing pass from Shannon Cunningham to put the Knights up by two.  

• Skidmore answered back at 9:12 to bring the lead down to one.  

• Heading into the second period, Greico continued her dominant performance, scoring her second of the game at 22 minutes even.  

• The team controlled the ball in Skidmore's half of the field throughout the second, but thanks to a great pass from Olivia Hernick, Greico tallied yet another goal and the Knights went into halftime up 4-1. 

• Skidmore came into the second half ready to play, scoring at 34:38. Geneseo answered back two minutes later, with Ada Roe scoring the final goal of the game for Geneseo. Aubree Werner was credited with the assist. The Knights finished the game winning 5-2. 

QUICK FACTS: 

• Lilly Spitz nabbed her fourth win of the season, making four saves.  

• Greico controlled the offense, tallying three goals on five shots.
