The SUNY Geneseo Women's Tennis team had an impressive 9-0 victory over Alfred University. The win moves the Knights to 5-1 overall and 4-1 in Empire 8 action. 

The Knights came out hot in doubles action, only dropping four combined games between the three matches. At first doubles, Samantha Rava and Rachel Molloy picked up an 8-2 win, then Natalie Pipes and Joann Catalano followed suit at second doubles with an 8-1 victory. Katie Kujawa and Elena DeRiso won 8-1 at third doubles to secure the 3-0 start to the match.

In singles play, Pipes tallied two 6-0 victories at first singles, while Rava picked up a 6-0 6-2 win at second singles. Molloy won at third singles by a score of 6-2 for both and Kujawa earned the another point for Geneseo at fourth singles. Catalano and DeRiso rounded out the team, only dropping one match between the both pairs. 

The Knights will bring their five-game win streak home to face Brockport on Wednesday at 1 PM.
