Women's Soccer Ties Oneonta, 0-0

ONEONTA, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team traveled to Oneonta for a SUNYAC matchup that ended in a 0-0 draw against the Red Dragons on Saturday afternoon. The game moved the Knights' season record to 5-1-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Geneseo was in control on offense for the majority of the first half as they recorded six shots and four corner kicks in the first 45 minutes of action.
  • The Knights' defense was also stellar before halftime as they prevented the Red Dragons from putting up any shots or corners.
  • Geneseo's offense became even more explosive out of the break as they tallied nine shots with seven on-goal in the second half of play.
  • Oneonta's offense was able to put up two shots in the second period and came close to the net once more in the final seconds, however an offsides call sealed the scoreless game.
  • Junior goalkeeper Mollie Collins had a quiet day in the net as only one save was necessary to seal Geneseo's sixth shutout of the season.
