Field Hockey Puts Up Five Goals To Defeat St. John Fisher, 5-2

GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo field hockey team remains undefeated at College Stadium after a convincing 5-2 win over St. John Fisher on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Geneseo came out of the gate hot with a goal before 2 minutes had passed by. Katrina Clare found the back of the goal off an assist from Sam Lewis.
  • The momentum in the first quarter was only starting for the Knights, as the goals kept rolling in. Ada Roe assisted by Katrina Clare, Olivia Hernick assisted by Emma Fon, and Ella Greico with an unassisted goal.
  • The Cardinals couldn't keep up with the Knights, scoring only one goal in the first half.
  • A goal from Grace Olczak in the third quarter put the Knights up 5-1.
  • St. John Fisher scored late in the third in an attempt to come back but couldn't gain enough momentum.
  • The score remained 5-2 after the third quarter, giving the Knights another home win.
